Are you as bad as me and like to wait until the absolute LAST minute to find a Halloween costume for your kids? While *technically* we have our costumes figured out, I still haven't started my middle child's. Tomorrow I'll be running to walmart to grab some fabric and accessories and sewing like a madman in between studying for my anatomy and physiology exam. #momlife amirite?
The original plan was for our entire family to do an Adventure Time themed costume. I had grand plans of my husband donning the Ice King getup, Nathan and Jake going as Finn the Human and Jake the Dog, Nora as the sweet Bubblegum Princess and Madeline as Lumpy Space Princess. I figured I'd wear a Unicorn onesie (I still might!).
Nathan and Jake will still go as planned, and if I can find purple tulle locally Maddie can rock the LSP getup, but Nora was a party pooper and wanted to be a Spider Princess (wtf is that even). Boo. Maybe next year my coordinating family costume dream can come true.
In the event you poorly planned, here are 5 cheap, fun, easy last minute costume ideas with links.
Seriously, I think every little girl has a robe and a million cat stuffed animals. Grab some $1 hair rollers and a face mask and you're set.
I mean, I think "will work for candy" not only fits the holiday but every kids wildest dream. #sugar
