Owen's Fresh 48 - GLWACH Fort Leonard Wood / Photos + Video

When you hire me for a fresh 48 photography session, I am "on call" similar to birth photography, but instead of showing up when you're in active labor I come to the hospital after you've had the baby. I do offer a package where I'll show up immediately after birth, but typically a fresh 48 session happens later in the afternoon or next morning depending on time of birth. Most mother's who opt for a fresh 48 enjoy having time to shower and recover a bit from labor and can even do a little makeup if they desire. Fresh 48 sessions are also great for documenting when the siblings meet new baby for the very first time, or if grandparents from out of town are traveling in and would like to be included in the first photographs. Unlike a posed newborn session, this is somewhat "fly on the wall" as I quietly observe how in love you are with your new one, and only give direction when needed.

Featuring the Unbound Album - Now Available with your Sessions

I've been working on finding the perfect album for over two years now. I wanted not just a typical layflat option, but also an unbound box to chose from. Something people might inquire about, but also able to blend into each family's décor.

Pumpkin Patch Minis - Andrea

This sweet family reached out for a model call I put out a year ago, and I giggled when I realized they lived across the street from me. Since then, we've become friends and I've been so honored to photograph their family from time to time. Joe isn't fond of family photos, but doesn't mind my methods (or lack of methods) when it comes to documentary photographs and lets things happen naturally.

Personal Photographs: Everlasting Imagery, Texas

While in Hawaii I had to take advantage of having photographs done of me and my little pineapple baby. She might not have been born there, but oh man she is everything that symbolizes my time in Hawaii (and she sure was concieved there, lol)! My friend Ariel of Everlasting Imagery was so kind to photograph the two of us at one of the few locations I never got to shoot at and always wanted to visit
