Amber & Nathan | Wedding

That's the one word takeaway from this sweet wedding I shot a few weeks ago. Nathan and Amber met in bible college, and Amber's parents contacted me while planning their wedding. We met and shared a few laughs while talking about the plans for the ceremony.  A few days before the ceremony I was able to swing by the church and meet Amber, who is SERIOUSLY the sweetest ever.

When I arrived, all the décor was being finalized and finishing touches set up. I spent a few minutes with Amber and her bridesmaids, getting ready and fighting false eyelashes. They had decided to do a first look prior to the ceremony to get all the bridal photos out of the way. Can I just say when Amber's dad saw her come into the room even I GOT THE FEELS. Her groom also couldn't help himself. She was just stunning. I'm not much for crazy "pintersy" portraits so we breezed through the requested groupings and bridal photos before Amber went back into the nursery to wait for the ceremony while the guys finished their portraits.

Every single person in the building was overjoyed to see these two lovebirds united. Each person, throughout the day, was fully of joy and happiness, which was perfect for the theme of the wedding. I love that they chose sunflowers and meadow green for the colors, because to me it's just the epitome of joy.

After the ceremony, and a few tricks by dad, the bride and groom were sent off by way of bubbles to their decked out wedding truck. Lots of balloons greeted them as they took off to spend their honeymoon together finally as one. I wish them the best in their future! I hope everyone gets to experience a love like theirs at least once.

I would recommend Candice to anyone! She did an amazing job on my daughter’s wedding photos. She was everywhere and that camera was snapping constantly. We are amazed that she was able to get the shots that she did. She captured so many precious moments. Her price was great too! Being a retired military wife, I love that I could support another army wife. Thanks again, Candice!!!!
